Folk Instruments and Accessories

Our instruments are all handcrafted in the US and include mountain dulcimers, hammered dulcimers, lap harps, bowed psalteries, a pickin' stick, limberjacks, door harps and more. We have cases, books, and a variety of other accessories.

Dulcimers and psalteries are instruments that do not require you to read music in order to play them. Follow the links to find information about these easy to play folk instruments. With the advent of a play-by-the-numbers system combined with the inherent simplicity of most folk instruments, it is more than a possibility to consider yourself playing an instrument if you don't want to learn to read music. Though they are easy to make some simple tunes on, mountain dulcimers, hammered dulcimers, bowed psalteries and even the very easy lap harp need not be boring to play. The are limited only by the players imagination.
