Built to keep down cost yet offer a great sounding dulcimer, TK O'Brien's Graduate model is also an attractive dulcimer with its solid Cedar top and graceful scroll head.
Instrument specs
Hourglass shape. 35 in. long, 7 1/2 in. wide, 2 in. deep. The fretscale length is 28 1/2 inches. A 6 1/2 fret is standard. It has 4 strings that are arranged in the traditional three string with double melody style. Also, the nut is notched to allow for equidistant string spacing as a true 4 string style. The tuners are a standard chrome open geared machine. Made in the U.S.
Wood features
A solid Cedar top for a warm sound. Mahogany fret board and flat peg head, Mahogany ply sides and back.
Appearance of cedar varies from lighter tones to darker brownish tones. |
