Craggy Mountain Music has been providing TK O’Brien’s quality folk instruments and accessories to web shoppers since 1996. At this time, we are strictly a mail order company.  We do not have a showroom for visitors but we do as much as possible by phone or email to give you any detailed information you require to make a purchasing decision. Our success in part is due to “word of mouth” business and we know that a satisfied customer means much more than a quick sale.

Our mission is to provide durable, affordable folk instruments that are both good looking and good sounding. We stand behind all our products. Your satisfaction is so important to us that if you are not satisfied with the quality of your instrument you may return it within 10 days of receipt.

Privacy Policy

Our policy is simple. We will never release any information received from you to third parties. All personal information needed to process your order such as name, address, telephone number, email address and credit card number is never shared. We maintain strict control over all information you submit.


Shipping Policy

Orders are shipped via UPS or USPS.

For expedited shipping please call us at 1-828-456-9360 for rates.

All orders are generally shipped within 48 hours.

We do not process or ship orders during weekends or on national holidays. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed the following Monday or Tuesday.

Occasionally we must back order an item, if this becomes necessary we will contact you with an approximate shipping date.

Orders paid by check will be held until the check has cleared before shipment.


Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 10 days of receipt for refund of purchase price.

You must first notify us to make return arrangements and receive an authorization number (RA#).  RA number can be obtained by email cs@craggymtnmusic.com or phone Mon. – Fri 9am to 4pm 1-828-456-9360.  All returned items must have a valid return authorization number (RA#) issued by Craggy Mountain Music. Product must be received by us within 14 days of RA# issuance. No returns will be accepted and/or credited without an RA# written clearly on the return package.  Any package returned without an approved authorization will be returned to the sender and no refund allowed.

Shipping costs are not refundable. You will be responsible for all shipping fees when returning an item. If you have returned merchandise that had free shipping we will deduct the shipping charges we incurred from your refund.

A restocking fee of 7 1/2% on all instruments and 5% on all other products will be assessed. This policy does not apply to damaged or defective products.

Products must be returned in brand new resalable condition with original packing, container, accessories, manuals and materials. It is advised that you insure your return shipment.
